The recently established Center for Genomic Integrity of the Institute of Basic Science (IBS-CGI, http://cgi.ibs.re.kr/html/cgi_en) at UNIST (http://www.unist.ac.kr) in Ulsan, South Korea has an opening for a junior faculty/group leader positions in the newly established Chemical and Cancer Biology Branch. With UNIST aiming to be among the top science universities in the world and IBS having provided a transformative boost to basic research in Korea, we are able to offer a top-notch research environment. We are looking for life scientists, chemists and biologists to join us in building an international world class research center in the broad area of DNA repair and genomic integrity.

The successful applicant will develop an independent research program, contribute to ongoing projects at IBS-CGI and have the possibility to move to a tenure-track position. IBS-CGI is fully government funded, offers outstanding resources to conduct research, state of the art core facilities, technical support and an intellectually stimulating environment. IBS-CGI is fully core supported, grant writing will not be required. Administrative support for the transition to Korea, relocation allowance, and on-campus housing are available in a science-friendly national environment.
