A Message from the Alumni Association PresidentDear UNIST Alumni and friends,
I am extremely honored to serve the University in this new and exciting role. However, at the same time, I feel the pressure in fulfilling my duties, as the first president of the UNIST Alumni Association.
An institute is best recognized by its product, the Alumni. The UNIST Alumni Association is committed to creating and maintaining a life-long connection between the university and its alumni. Our mission is to create a network enabling our Alumni to remain engaged with their alma mater and prepare them for a lifetime of success.
To realize these goals, we are looking to keep our alumni engaged with UNIST and with each other by offering an exciting and growing program of services, such as UNIST Alumni Reunion Nights and Alumni outreach events.
Through the Association, we hope that our alumni will find a wealth of ways to give back to UNIST, from scholarship support of promising students to regional outreach for our graduates.
As our alumni pool grows, more ideas, more programs, and more connections will be expected from the Association. I will make every efforts to exceed those expectations. Also, with the help of the UNIST Alumni Association, I will make every efforts to exceed those expectations and to create a strong and lasting bonds between UNIST and its worldwide community of graduates.
With sincere gratitude,
Hoon Hahn Yoon
President of UNIST Alumni Association
